\u2022 Apply object-oriented design and established software-development principles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Troubleshoot application defects, integration challenges and production issues.
\u2022 Support application implementations, releases and ongoing production activities.
\u2022 Contribute to application monitoring, reliability and performance improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Collaborate with business analysts, quality-assurance engineers, architects and operations teams.
\u2022 Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes, standards and practices.
\u2022 Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
\u2022 Participate in Agile ceremonies and DevOps delivery activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\nWhat we are looking for<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, C#, C++, JavaScript or TypeScript.
\u2022 Experience designing and developing APIs, services and system integrations.
\u2022 Experience with databases, version-control systems and automated testing.
\u2022 Strong understanding of object-oriented design and software-development principles.
\u2022 Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
\u2022 Knowledge of cloud platforms, microservices, containers or event-driven architectures.
\u2022 Experience with CI\/CD pipelines and application-monitoring tools.
\u2022 Front-end development experience with React, Angular or a comparable framework is an asset.
\u2022 Experience within banking, Capital Markets or another regulated industry is strongly preferred.
\u2022 Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
