\u2022 Monitor application availability, system performance, batch processes and production alerts.
\u2022 Investigate and resolve incidents, service interruptions and application-performance issues.
\u2022 Respond to user inquiries and provide timely technical and functional support.
\u2022 Escalate complex issues to development, infrastructure or vendor teams when required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Perform root-cause analysis and contribute to permanent corrective and preventive solutions.
\u2022 Use Unix\/Linux and SQL to analyze application behaviour, logs, data and system issues.
\u2022 Document known errors, workarounds, support procedures and troubleshooting steps.
\u2022 Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to application stability and support processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Support application releases, production implementations and post-deployment validation.
\u2022 Participate in change-management, problem-management and release-readiness activities.
\u2022 Prepare incident updates, operational reports and stakeholder communications.
\u2022 Contribute to the continuous improvement of monitoring, automation and production-support practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\nWhat we are looking for<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
\u2022 Professional experience supporting applications within a Capital Markets<\/strong> environment.
\u2022 Experience with Equity Derivatives, Front-Office Trading, Risk Analytics or Trade Execution systems.<\/strong>
\u2022 Strong hands-on experience with Unix\/Linux and SQL.<\/strong>
\u2022 Solid knowledge of incident management, problem management and root-cause analysis.<\/strong>
\u2022 Experience investigating production issues using application logs, monitoring tools and data analysis<\/strong>.
\u2022 Understanding of application releases, change-management processes and production controls<\/strong>.
\u2022 Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to time-sensitive production incidents<\/strong>.
\u2022 Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
\u2022 Excellent documentation, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
\u2022 Experience working within regulated financial-services environments<\/strong> is strongly preferred<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
