TO ALL ESSENTIAL WORKERS – I WOULD LIKE TO EXTEND A HUGE, HUGE – THANK YOU!
TO ANYONE WHO HAS LOST SOMEONE DUE TO COVID-19 OR SIMPLY LOST SOMEONE THEY LOVE RECENTLY, OUR HEARTS GO OUT TO YOU & YOUR FAMILIES. WE SYMPATHIZE AND OFFER OUR DEEPEST CONDOLENCES.
If you’ve ever worked with me and/or if you know me well enough, you have definitely heard me say at some point, “Let’s make IT happen” – more than once! And, that’s the overall general attitude I tend to have when focusing on driving business and personal life challenges forward.
As we continue to focus on getting past this unprecedented pandemic crisis, we need to weather this storm and recognize that we will get through this! We’re going to be hitting our peak over the next couple of days in Quebec, and we’re focused on flattening the curve, we’re washing our hands, and social distancing like never before!! It’s so easy to let yourself be drawn into a “doom & gloom” scenario because that’s what we’ve been facing each day now for the last several weeks in isolation dealing with this Covid-19 crisis. We are definitely in the eye of the storm, and we will come out of this forever changed (both personally and business-wise) but we will get through it together!
Below you will find a list of just a few of the activities we’ve been doing over the last several weeks to maximize our mental health (ok, preserve our sanity!), minimize our stress levels and to keep our spirits up!
Get creative while maintaining your business mission & values;
Organize brainstorming sessions for new ideas to grow;
Cut your costs and look at making your overhead leaner;
Defer or freeze any payments that are due for a later date (have those difficult discussions and find a solution);
Focus on finding alternative solutions;
Source new or realign your revenue streams;
Review your website and use this time to make any maintenance, changes or updates;
Create new content or marketing strategies;
Collaborate with other people in your ecosystems;
Attend networking/informative webinars and/or learn a new skill online: e-learning;
Stay close to your business partners & check-in with them from time-to-time.
I know it’s a challenging time for everyone, a very tough situation we are all facing, I know that it’s much more than just a rainy day. Still, I am confident and I know that the sun will eventually shine, it always rises but for now we need to weather this storm together. To all, please stay focused on your long-term goals and your vision, we will get through this!
Please be safe & stay home!
Nancy
