Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the analysis, documentation and delivery of business and technology solutions.
The successful candidate will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to understand business needs, define clear requirements and support solution implementation, testing and operational readiness.
What we need your help with
Business Analysis & Requirements
• Gather, analyze and document business, functional and system requirements.
• Create user stories, use cases, process flows and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze current processes and identify gaps, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Translate complex business needs into clear and actionable requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project and requirements documentation.
Solution Delivery & Testing
• Work closely with developers, quality-assurance teams and other technology partners to clarify requirements.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning and solution-delivery activities.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and document test scenarios, results and identified issues.
• Support solution implementation, training, change-management and operational-readiness activities.
• Contribute to process mapping, data-flow analysis and system-integration initiatives.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Governance
• Facilitate discussions and working sessions with business and technology stakeholders.
• Track issues, decisions, dependencies, action items and project risks.
• Prepare project-status updates, presentations and stakeholder communications.
• Help ensure alignment between business objectives, technical solutions and delivery priorities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous-improvement initiatives.
What we are looking for
• Professional experience as a Business Analyst within a technology or business-transformation environment.
• Strong requirements-elicitation, analysis and documentation skills.
• Experience creating user stories, use cases, process maps and acceptance criteria.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and project lifecycle practices.
• Experience coordinating or supporting user acceptance testing.
• Knowledge of APIs, databases, data flows and system integrations.
• Experience supporting process-mapping and change-management activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Jira, Confluence or comparable tools.
• Experience within Capital Markets or financial services is strongly preferred.
• Bilingual English and French communication skills are an asset, particularly for Montreal-based opportunities.
• Excellent communication, organization and facilitation skills.
• Ability to analyze complex information and communicate it clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
