Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Securitization Quality Assurance Engineer to support the testing and quality assurance of applications and platforms used in securitization and structured finance.

The successful candidate will collaborate with technology, business and operations teams to define testing strategies, validate system functionality and support the reliable delivery of high-quality solutions.

What we need your help with

Quality Assurance & Testing

• Develop comprehensive testing strategies, plans, scenarios and test cases for securitization applications.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system and end-to-end testing.
• Validate data flows, business rules, financial calculations and transaction lifecycles.
• Test interfaces between trading, risk, operations, reporting and downstream systems.
• Review business and system requirements to identify gaps, ambiguities and potential risks.

Defect Management & Test Automation

• Investigate defects, support root-cause analysis and track issues through resolution.
• Document defects clearly and collaborate with development teams to validate corrective actions.
• Support test-automation initiatives and improve quality-assurance processes, tools and standards.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of reusable automated test suites.
• Use SQL and other tools to perform data validation and reconciliation.

Collaboration & Release Support

• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, product owners and operations teams.
• Prepare testing evidence, progress reports and release-readiness assessments.
• Communicate testing results, risks, dependencies and outstanding issues to project stakeholders.
• Support production implementations and post-release validation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous-improvement initiatives.

What we are looking for

• Professional experience in software quality assurance, preferably within Capital Markets or financial services.
• Experience testing securitization, structured-products, fixed-income, lending or transaction-processing systems.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, software testing lifecycle, defect management and testing methodologies.
• Experience performing functional, integration, regression, system and end-to-end testing.
• Proficiency with SQL and data-validation techniques.
• Experience with test-management and defect-tracking tools.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Test-automation experience using Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber or comparable tools.
• Knowledge of securitization concepts, asset-backed securities or structured finance is strongly preferred.
• Experience testing APIs, messaging platforms and batch-processing solutions is an asset.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software-development practices.
• Strong analytical, documentation, troubleshooting and communication skills.
