What we need your help with
- Evaluate, plan, monitor, and control activities and projects related to Server Infrastructure and Telecommunications Infrastructure within construction, facility development, and biomedical engineering equipment programs.
- Assess the human, financial, material, and informational resources required for the projects under your responsibility.
- Prepare analyses, technological plans, and specifications.
- Monitor project progress (advancement, cost, etc.) and keep stakeholders informed.
- Identify potential issues and proactively manage risks.
- Coordinate the work of other resources in the execution of development or continuity projects.
- Manage and ensure compliance with project budgets and schedules.
- Maintain communication with internal and external suppliers.
- Ensure the quality of project deliverables.
- Report on project progress to clients and management.
- Be able to respond quickly to urgent ad hoc requests (e.g., new reports, presentations, or other needs) within tight deadlines, occasionally requiring work outside regular hours.
- Ensure the quality of all professional documents intended for senior management.
- Support the implementation of activities promoting effective change management.
- Conduct project closures and make necessary recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure the production of tracking information for projects under your responsibility.
- Participate in the administrative management of the project portfolio:
- Update project portfolio information.
- Contribute to project management performance indicators.
- Conduct technological monitoring for infrastructure.
What we are looking for
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ten (10) years of experience in IT project management.
- Practical experience in construction and facility development projects.
- Knowledge of technology environments in the healthcare sector, particularly within Québec.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure concepts: network, servers, desktop virtualization, SAN, etc.
- Knowledge of telecommunications and telephony infrastructure concepts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Visio, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Training in project management.
- Knowledge of biomedical equipment is an asset.
