Role and responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst – Planning & Budgeting Focus for one of our clients.

The selected individual will actively contribute to the collection, analysis, and formalization of business requirements related to topics such as budgeting, cost management, allocation, cost of goods, financial levers, financing, RNI, workforce planning, and the monitoring of these elements.
They will play a key role in designing business and functional models in collaboration with internal teams.

Our technology environment primarily relies on Oracle Cloud solutions, particularly the Oracle EPM suite. Hands-on experience with these tools is a major asset.

What we need your help with

  • Conduct business requirements analysis and document them in a structured manner to facilitate the identification of appropriate technology solutions.
  • Coach business partners in expressing and formalizing their requirements.
  • Collaborate as a specialist in assessing feasibility and designing detailed solutions.
  • Participate in the management of product backlogs in a co-creation mode with business and technology teams.
  • Define specific use cases and exceptions in collaboration with process owners, functional teams, and project teams.
  • Advise development teams and process owners by proposing alternatives aligned with business and functional architecture.

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Proven expertise in planning & budgeting within complex and structured environments
  • Significant experience in the financial sector or large organizations
  • Strong knowledge of concepts related to cost management, allocation, financing, RNI, cost of goods, and workforce planning
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud EPM or equivalent tools (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan, Workday Adaptive Planning) is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, simplification, and documentation skills for business requirements
  • University degree
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in a business analyst role
