Role and responsibilities

As a Mobile Developer, your role will include the following responsibilities:

• Advise stakeholders and managers on the development of business solutions using information technologies;
• Design, develop, implement, maintain, and enhance information systems to support organizational activities;
• Ensure compliance with policies regarding information processing, distribution, and access security;
• Stay up to date on new system development techniques, emerging trends, and technologies.

What we need your help with

• Collaborate with product teams to understand needs and deliver solutions that meet business objectives;
• Develop and maintain services and applications, including coding, testing, and deployment, following secure application development best practices;
• Automate testing using methodologies such as BDD/TDD and take accountability for quality;
• Support functional, acceptance, and integration testing activities;
• Document technical solutions and practices to ensure product sustainability;
• Collaborate in assessing fixes required to resolve production issues;
• Provide support to users, analysts, and team members;
• Monitor development technologies and practices and share best practices within product teams.
• Deliverables:
  • Secure and high-performing programs;
  • Technical documentation;
  • Other deliverables as required.

What we are looking for

• Hold a college diploma in computer science recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education. Government-recognized equivalencies are accepted. Ensure you have a DEC-level credential recognized by MIFI in the relevant fields.
• 5 years of experience in the IT field
• 2 years of experience as a mobile developer within the last 5 years, with the following technologies:
  • XCode / Visual Studio Code
  • React Native OR (Dart and Flutter)
• 2 years of project experience in an Agile environment
• 1 year of experience with the following technologies:
  • AWS
  • DynamoDB
